A SUBJECT UNDER CONSIDERATION
A Subject Under Consideration is a group work researching the comparison of the removal of identity with a focus on the physicality of movement vessels to the humanistic experience of emotional tethers of physical contact between one and other. This work explores complex patterns and visual shapes between the artists, lighting, and sound score. This portion of the work focuses on the isolation of intimacy and the brief moments of artificial and authentic relationships. The piece that will be performed will be an extension of this work and be looking at different perspectives and interdisciplinary avenues to authentically connect to the audience.

"This quintet offers us relationships, interactions, or lack thereof in a community of women. I was impressed with the complexity of the staging and how it fed the emotional message. There is a constant shifting between groups in unison, partnering solo phrases often happening at the same time. The music which is not particularly present in the start of the work builds to support and drive the movement. I hope this dance draws you in as it did me".
